About me
I'm Michael, a native English speaker from the United States and a retired U.S. Air Force Security Forces veteran. I spent over 12 years training and instructing people in demanding, high-stakes environments, where clear communication mattered every day.
Now based in São Paulo State, Brazil, I help adult learners speak English with confidence through practical, real-world conversation. As a certified U.S. Air Force instructor (Combat Arms Training and Maintenance), I spent years teaching adults, giving clear instructions under pressure, and communicating with people from many cultures. I bring that same clear, patient style to every lesson.
My classes focus on speaking: natural dialogue, everyday situations and professional communication, at a pace that fits you.

What levels do you teach?
Adults from beginner to advanced. Lessons are adapted to your level and goals.
How long is a lesson?
Standard lessons are 60 minutes. A 30-minute option is available if you prefer shorter, more frequent practice.
What happens in the trial lesson?
We get to know each other, I assess your speaking level, and we set goals so you can see how the classes work before committing.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Which platforms do you use online?
Zoom or Google Meet, whichever you prefer.
Where are in-person lessons available?
Mainly Santos, Praia Grande, São Vicente and Guarujá. For other locations, just ask. Travel expenses may be added depending on distance.
